In Computing for Arts Festival 2021 we have worked on Mondrian style digital art. We used Paint 3D for this project, starting with a blank white background and adding multiple four sided shapes to create a simple or more complex design. We then added colour to our designs. The students produced some wonderful designs, some which would fit perfectly in their bedrooms and others that would be suited to any home or workplace. One student even created a Mondrian style map of the world which was very impressive. Once the students had completed a 2D project they went on to design some 3D pieces which were equally impressive. We have been blown away by the precision, thoughtfulness, concentration and creativity which has been demonstrated by each and every student this arts week. It has been a pleasure to watch students blossom in this way – well done everyone!
