If you go down to the woods, you may find a colourful surprise. As, hidden among the trees and leaves, a number of families and dog walkers have been finding painted pebbles as part of a project to spread a little happiness.

The Pebble Art project was started in Morecambe by a woman called Jacky Burns with participants encouraged to paint a rock, write Pebble Art on the back and then hide it in the hope of making a stranger smile when they find it.

Giraffe Class took part in this project as part of our school’s Arts Week. The children decorated pebbles with things that made them happy. They then hid the pebbles outside for others to find to pass on positivity and happiness.
