The Governors of the school are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated teaching assistant(s) to work across the school. Successful candidate(s) will join a team of teaching assistants committed to raising standards and providing support to the teaching and learning agenda.
The role requires specialist skills and knowledge within a specialised context, working with children with substantial additional challenges. We are recruiting for all of our sites – Collingwood Main Site in Morpeth, our Woodlands site at Hepscott Park, and The Fuse at Prudhoe.
We have 3 full time vacancies, and one part time – the part time post will be to work 2 days per week at our Hepscott Park site.
You must be:
- Flexible, motivated, supportive and enthusiastic
- Have the skills and commitment to improve outcomes for all pupils in our school
- Able to work effectively within a team
- Able to relate to a wide range of abilities
Previous SEND experience, although not essential, would be an advantage.

Cover Supervisor

The Governors of the school are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cover Supervisor to undertake pre-prepared activities provided by a teacher and to supervise classes during the short term absence of teachers. The appointed person will plan and organise supply cover in conjunction with the HR officer when they are not delivering lessons.
The role requires specialist skills and knowledge within a specialised context, working with children with substantial additional challenges.
You must be:
- Experienced in planning and delivering teaching and learning activities for classes
- Flexible, motivated, supportive and enthusiastic

- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above in a relevant discipline

This role will initially be based at our Hepscott Park site, pupils at this site have a complex behaviours and SEMH needs, and you will be delivering tailored educational programs and interventions. There is a focus on a vocational curriculum and outdoor learning at this site.
